Blue Square Premier strugglers Gateshead have signed striker Brian Wake and midfielder James Sinclair.
Ex-Carlisle player Wake, 27, joins on a free transfer from Scottish First Division side Greenock Morton.
Sinclair, 22, who spent three years at Bolton Wanderers, has signed on non-contract terms after spells in the USA and Norway.
Both made their debuts in the 2-0 home defeat by Kettering on Tuesday which left Gateshead third from bottom.
