Forest Green have signed midfielder Paul Lloyd until the end of the season.

Lloyd, 21, left Morecambe by mutual consent during the transfer window with his first-team opportunities limited.

Rovers boss Jim Harvey knows the player from his time at the Shrimps helm and tried to sign Lloyd 18 months ago, but the move failed to get off the ground.

Lloyd was subsequently injured and made just seven appearances in League Two last season, with one outing this term in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
