Tisdale is not expecting any further transfer activity at St James Park
Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale has said he is optimistic after the first few weeks in League One.
The Grecians have picked up five points from their first four league matches, with one win and two draws.
Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon: "I'm very pleased because I think we've been fair value for the points we have."
"We've been very good at being balanced, and the fact we won away at Carlisle made the trip back to Exeter a lot more pleasant," he added.
A second-half penalty by veteran striker Marcus Stewart handed Exeter their first win of the season at Carlisle last Saturday.
For Tisdale and his newly promoted squad, breaking their duck in League One was a big relief.
He said: "You do question yourself when you don't get the right result, but the world seems a far sunnier place when you've just won."
On Saturday, the Grecians welcome MK Dons to St James Park, with Paul Ince's side regarded as one of the favourites for promotion.
"We're expecting a tough game," said Tisdale. "In fact I think for the first five months of the year we'll have a tough game every week because we don't know much about these teams.
"MK Dons will be difficult, but exactly how I don't know.
"I know they'll be competitive you just have to look at how they did last year."
