McAllister scored twice on his first league start for City on Tuesday

Exeter manager Paul Tisdale says the pairing of Craig McAllister and Richard Logan excelled up front in Tuesday's 2-1 win at Dagenham and Redbridge.

Tisdale told BBC Devon that he needed a physically strong presence up front and was rewarded with McAllister's double.

He said: "It was right to stir it up a bit and come out with a fresh approach.

"Those two were the target for all our forward play and were a real handful. I'm pleased with how they did and I'm delighted Craig got two goals."
