Argyle's McNamee has won two caps for his native Scotland

Plymouth Argyle full-back David McNamee will see a surgeon to assess the extent of the broken cheekbone he suffered against Preston on Tuesday night.

The 28-year-old was stretchered off after half an hour of Argyle's Championship clash at Deepdale.

Injury-plagued McNamee has only made five starts since joining Argyle on a free transfer in the summer.

The former Coventry defender has suffered a series of leg injuries since coming to Home Park.
