Port Vale manager Micky Adams has said that Everton are yet to make an offer for teenage striker James Lawrie.
Lawrie, 18, has spent a week training with the FA Cup finalists, with the blessing of the League Two club.
"I wouldn't call it a trial," Adams told BBC Radio Stoke. "He's a member of my first-team squad and he's gone to Everton to train.
"Everton might like what they see and may make an offer for him, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

Adams added: "I'm not Mystic Meg. I don't know if there's going to be an offer forthcoming, so I haven't even thought about it.
"But the week can only benefit him, playing with so-called better players and I think it will be a worthwhile exercise."
Lawrie made his international debut for Northern Ireland in June when he came on as a substitute in a 3-0 defeat by Italy.
He played 26 times for Vale last season, mostly as a substitute, scoring two goals.
