Daish's side have just one victory in the Blue Square Premier

Ebbsfleet United midfielder Jamie Forshaw and defender Steven Springett have joined Ryman South side Ashford Town on one month loans.

Forshaw has started just two games for the Blue Square Premier side this term and Springett is yet to make his debut.

Ashford boss Steve Lovell, who used to manage Gravesend and Northfleet, told his club's website: "I believe these lads will do a great job for us.

"I watched the two lads play last week and I saw what they can bring to us."

He added: "It will be a great opportunity for them to show Liam Daish what they can do so when they finish with us they can look to force their way into the first-team picture at Ebbsfleet.

Ebbsfleet are currently third from bottom in the table, with just one win.
