Daish issues ultimatum to players

Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish has admitted he is running out of patience with certain players after his side's disappointing start to the season.

Their 1-0 defeat at Histon leaves Fleet 19th in the Blue Square Premier, having won only one of their 12 games so far.

"We're 12 games in now and I've given them that chance," Daish told BBC Radio Kent. "I can't just keep doing it.

"Things are going to have to change. I need to get players in who are good enough to keep us in this league."

Daish added: "At the moment one win out of twelve isn't good enough."

"They've got to decide if they're good enough for this league.

"If they're not good enough fine but if they think they're good enough they've got to start showing me and giving me more.

"I need players to either perform now, or be honest with me and say maybe this level is a bit too much."
