Daish furious over stoppage time

Daish cannot understand where six minutes came from

Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish is furious at the amount of stoppage time added to the end of their 2-2 draw with AFC Wimbledon.

The Fleet were heading for their first home win of the season before Ross Montague levelled in the sixth minute of added time.

"They decided 96 minutes isn't enough. The ref told me it was the sending off that make it that long.

"But that was in the 88th minute," Daish told BBC Radio Kent.

He added: "He said he gave the instruction that it was four minutes (added time) in the 86th minute. He's left himself open. It's a good thing I don't need four minutes to get information onto the pitch.

"It was seven minutes from the first time they put the board up saying four minutes.

"If I took four minutes to give information to a player, it would have come and gone by then.

"I'm disappointed, and disillusioned. I thought we had our first three points at home. I thought we were there. I thought we had done enough."
