Eastbourne Borough sign midfielder Steve Brinkhurst
Former Brighton midfielder Steve Brinkhurst has signed a one-year deal with Blue Square Premier side Eastbourne Borough.
The 19-year-old, who can play on either flank, signed his first professional deal with the Seagulls last summer but failed to make a first team appearance.
He spent two months on loan at Blue Square South side Lewes last season, scoring three goals in 12 appearances.
Brinkhurst is Boro manager Garry Wilson's third signing of the summer.
Goalkeeper Rikki Banks and defender Matt Langston have also joined the Sports, from Lewes and Histon respectively.
