Eastbourne Borough manager Garry Wilson wants his side to double their points tally before Christmas.
Borough, who finished 13th last season, have accrued 15 points so far in this campaign and are 14th after the 3-1 win over Hayes & Yeading.
Wilson told BBC Sussex: "It is going in the right direction now.
"If we can just get another couple of home wins and try to set ourselves a target of maybe 30 points before Christmas, we'll be well on the way."
The Scot, who celebrated his 10th anniversary at Priory Lane this year, also voiced his delight with striker Liam Enver-Marum's involvement in the win over their Middlesex rivals.
"This is the first time this season really we've seen it come to fruition," he said.
"He got an opportunity through Andy Atkin failing a fitness test and has really taken it up and scored two tremendous goals with a hand in the third."
