Wilson led Eastbourne to promotion from Blue Square South last season
Garry Wilson will celebrate 10 years as manager of Eastbourne Borough when his side runs out at Altrincham in the Blue Square Premier on Saturday.
Wilson was hired in February 1999 and has taken the club from Sussex County Championship Division One to the top flight of non-league football.
He told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "It's been 10 years of real enjoyment and a lot of success.
"It's not all about me, it's been a great 10 years for the football club."
Wilson, who has a full-time job as well as his managerial duties at Eastbourne, paid tribute to his assistant Nick Greenwood and his coaching staff.
And, with the club currently 10th in the Blue Square Premier, Wilson has set his sights on leading them into the Football League.
"Not in the next year, maybe not the next two years. The future, as a club, we must strive to get to the Football League," he said.
"I'm sure, whether it's with me or with another manager, in the long term I'm sure this club will get there because they go about their business in the right way and they deserve to be there.
"Hopefully one day we'll see Eastbourne Borough play in the Football League."
