Eastbourne Borough have signed 26-year-old defender Patrick Sappleton on a one-month contract.

Sappleton brings experience at Blue Square Premier level to Priory Lane after spells with Crawley and Farnborough Town.

The centre-back will make his debut in a friendly with Hastings United on Tuesday night.

Sappleton has played for Jamaica at under-21 level. He has most recently been at Ryman Premier League Margate.
