Former Barnsley defender Dennis Souza is training with Doncaster Rovers in a bid to earn a deal with the Championship club.
The 30-year-old Brazilian is in his second week with Rovers but boss Sean O'Driscoll is yet to speak to representatives about a move.
The centre-half is currently contracted to Al-Saliya Sports Club in Qatar.
He joined Barnsley in 2007 and went on to make 78 appearances before leaving them in 2009.
