Oster made 76 appearances for Reading over three years
Doncaster Rovers have handed midfielder John Oster a new two-year contract.
The 31-year-old former Wales international arrived at the Keepmoat Stadium last summer, initially on a six-month deal.
That contract was extended in January until the end of the season and this latest deal should keep the former Everton player at the club until 2012.
Oster, who began his career at Grimsby Town, moved to Goodison Park in 1997 for £1.5m.
The former Crystal Palace player won 13 caps for Wales during a seven-year international career, and enjoyed extended playing spells with Sunderland and Reading.
