Doncaster Rovers have agreed terms with midfielder John Oster to extend his contract until the end of the season, reports BBC Radio Sheffield.
The 31-year-old arrived at the Keepmoat Stadium in the summer on a six-month deal after leaving Crystal Palace and has made 24 appearances.
Meanwhile, Rovers have re-opened contract talks with 24-year-old Southampton midfielder Simon Gillett.
The two clubs have agreed a nominal fee for Gillett, who impressed on loan.
