Doncaster Rovers have dismissed newspaper speculation that captain Brian Stock is wanted by Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanders.
The 27-year-old midfielder, who is under contract until 2011, has been linked with a £2m switch to Mick McCarthy's newly-promoted side.
Rovers chairman John Ryan told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We have a very friendly relationship with Wolves.
"If they were interested in Brian Stock they'd ring us up."
The former Wales Under-21 international joined Doncaster from Preston in 2006, initially on loan, and featured in 40 games this season.
