Doncaster Rovers midfielder Brian Stock hopes talk of a move to the Premier League will help him earn his first full cap for Wales.
The 27-year-old is reportedly wanted by Wigan and West Brom and admitted he is "flattered" by the links.
But he has not made the Wales squad to face Poland on Wednesday.
And he told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I was disappointed not to be in the squad. I'll have to try something a bit more special to get into it."
Stock, who qualifies for Wales through his grandmother, was capped at Under-21 level during his time at Bournemouth, his first club.
