Savage is back in favour having been loaned out to Brighton this season
Derby County midfielder Robbie Savage says the Rams must use Tuesday's home match against Swansea to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat at Doncaster.
Savage put Derby ahead just after half-time on Friday but goals from Paul Heffernan and Mark Wilson sealed the South Yorkshire club's win.
Savage told BBC Radio Derby: "We're all desperately disappointed. The manager had a right go at us and rightly so.
"Three-and-a-half thousand travelling fans deserve better than that."
Savage added: "We just didn't grind it out. We were 1-0 up away from home - even if we'd come away one-all it's a good point and keeps the unbeaten run going.
"[Tuesday's] game can't come quickly enough for me."
Derby are seven points clear of the relegation zone in 16th place.
