Derby County midfielder Miles Addison has extended his contract with the club until the summer of 2012.
The 20-year-old has broken into the Rams' first team this year and has started 28 games this season, as well as captaining the team recently.
Addison only signed a new three-year deal at Pride Park in September.
Boss Nigel Clough told the club website: "It's great news for everyone at the club. He is the sort of person you want to build the team around."
