Todd is keen to take full responsibility for Darlington's form
Darlington manager Colin Todd has said he takes full responsibility for steering the club back to form after a fourth straight defeat in League Two.
The Quakers were beaten 1-0 at Port Vale on Saturday, as Gary Smith's missed penalty cost the club a point.
"There's no magic formula, it's up to me to make sure we can turn it around," he told BBC Tees.
"I can't afford to let people feel sorry for themselves. We need to get ready for the next game."
Performance-wise Todd remained satisfied with the display but admitted there is work still to be done at either end of the field.
"I can't fault them for that desire and passion, I thought for long periods in the game we controlled it," he said.
"We're shooting ourselves in the foot, the ball in for their goal, we were indecisive, we got caught, and if we put a ball in the box like that we have to get someone on the end of it."
