Tait admits struggles
Darlington boss Mick Tait has admitted the club are facing a battle against relegation.

The Quakers slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home to Rochdale on Tuesday to suffer their third defeat in four games.

"The last fortnight has been a nightmare," Tait told the Teesside Evening Gazette.

"We have gone from looking to push towards the play-offs to worrying about relegation.

"We started off brightly and played some good football but in the attacking part of the field the quality was missing.

"Our crossing, from the full-backs and wingers was awful so the strikers had nothing to feed off. It was criminal to have that much possession and create so little."
