Morgan was Aldershot's top scorer last season with 16 goals

Aldershot striker Marvin Morgan has joined Dagenham & Redbridge on loan until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old is currently transfer listed at the Recreation Ground after posting a "misguided" message on social networking site Twitter.

He has scored 28 goals in 105 appearances for the Shots since joining from Woking in the summer of 2008.

But the forward has not found the net since mid-October, last scoring in a 2-1 League Two win over Morecambe.

Northampton Town boss Ian Sampson had revealed his interest in Morgan, who was fined two weeks' wages by the Shots after making comments on Twitter following criticism from supporters.
