Aldershot's Marvin Morgan transfer listed over tweet

Aldershot Town striker Marvin Morgan has been placed on the transfer list following a message he posted on social networking website Twitter.
The 27-year-old was responding to the booing he received from his own fans after Monday's 2-1 defeat to Hereford.
"The player accepted that his conduct was totally misguided and inappropriate and he accepts that his actions were incorrect," a club statement read.
Morgan apologised for the tweet in a separate message on Tuesday.
At a disciplinary meeting held at the club on Wednesday, the former Woking man was also fined a maximum two weeks' wages, and told not to return to the club during that period.

The statement continued: "Accepting that his actions had been foolish he explained that they had been made in the heat of the moment and apologised for the distress he had caused.
"The club is also of the opinion that careful consideration is required for all future use of social networking sites by players and staff as a means of communication."
It is not the first time that the use of the Twitter website has caused a stir amongst the sporting world.
