Daggers boss John Still saw his side lose to an injury-time Cherries goal
Dagenham & Redbridge boss John Still is refusing to get too despondent about his side's recent run of results.
The Daggers have picked up one point in the last three games, denting their push for a League Two promotion place.
But following their injury-time defeat to strugglers Bournemouth on Tuesday, Still told BBC Essex he would not allow himself to get too downbeat.
"I've been in the game too long. I'm never too high with success and never too low with disappointment," he said.
"I just know the performances all season that my team have put in have been fantastic and we should never run away with who we are - we are Dagenham."
The Daggers, who have flirted with the play-offs all season, are still just three points from seventh-placed Exeter ahead of Saturday's trip to another of League Two's lesser lights Chester.
And Still believes his team have proved throughout the campaign that they are more than capable of finishing in one of those play-off spots.
"If you play poorly and get beaten there is nothing you can do about it," he said. "But if you play well and get beaten it's more of a disappointment because you know you've done enough to win the game.
"We're putting in good performances and we have to keep doing that and keep positive."
