Guy scored his first Daggers goal against Port Vale on Tuesday

Dagenham & Redbridge striker Jamie Guy says he hopes to extend his loan with the club until the end of the season.

Guy is currently on loan for a month from Colchester and netted his first goal in Tuesday's win at Port Vale.

The 21-year-old told BBC Essex: "I've signed for the month and hopefully I'll extend at the end of that, but it's all down to Colchester.

"If I'm here until the end of the season I'm looking [to score] around eight to 10 goals."

Guy spent the first part of the season on-loan with Oxford United, where he made over 20 appearances and scored twice.
