Benson scored his second league hat-trick against Notts County
Striker Paul Benson has said Dagenham & Redbridge's ability to score from all areas of the field is paying dividends.
The 28-year-old scored three of the Daggers' six goals in their rout of Notts County on Saturday to take his season's tally to 10.
He told BBC Essex: "If you want to win leagues and score lots of goals you've got to hope for more than from just me and Ben Strevens.
"We've done that this season, we've chipped in from all over the park."
Benson also pointed to the side's fitness levels, which allowed them to play manager John Still's high-tempo style for the full 90 minutes in the victory at Victoria Road.
"It's a big thing for the gaffer," explained Benson. "He puts a lot of emphasis on us being fit and you could say the fitter side won.
"It's the sharpness as well, we do a lot of work on fitness and short, sharp work, so it's paid dividends."
