Crystal Palace have signed defender Julian Bennett on loan from Championship rivals Nottingham Forest until January.
Palace boss George Burley will have the 25-year-old in his squad for Saturday's clash with Leicester.
Injury has restricted Bennett to just 13 appearances for Forest during the last two seasons.
Meanwhile Palace forward Sean Scannell, 19, faces up to six months on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Bennett returned to action in March this year following 14 months out with a knee ligament injury.
He signed a one-year extension to his contract with Forest in the same month.
