Crewe Alexandra manager Dario Gradi says out-of-favour striker Calvin Zola's move away from the club could be delayed by injury.
Despite being last season's top-scorer, Zola has not featured since October and has played just eight games this term.
Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke : "Calvin has not been fit for a long time and it may be difficult for a club to take a chance on him."
The 25-year-old Congolese forward becomes a free agent in the summer.
Before his injury problems, Zola turned down a string of loan moves, including Southend, Bradford, and Burton Albion.
And Shrewsbury Town offered the former Tranmere forward a permanent deal but the striker opted to remain at Gresty Road.
