Crewe's Danny Blanchett praises keeper Rhys Taylor
Taylor has started all 23 games for the Alex this season
Crewe full-back Danny Blanchett has praised the impact made by on-loan goalkeeper Rhys Taylor.
Taylor, 20, joined from Chelsea on a season-long loan and has saved three of the last four penalties he has faced including one at Morecambe on Saturday.
"He's been outstanding since he's been here so he's a big help to us," Blanchett told BBC Radio Stoke.
"It gives us a boost to have a keeper who's making saves, commanding his box and telling everyone what to do."
Taylor has been ever-present for the Alex this season and saved spot kicks from Rotherham's Adam Le Fondre, Shrewsbury's Jake Robinson and Morecambe's Phil Jeavons.
I got my head down and worked hard, and impressed [the manager] this week again. I'm now back in the team so hopefully I'll keep my place

Blanchett added: "He's come from a higher level. He's still young and learning but he's been an inspiration to keepers everywhere by coming down to League Two and doing so well."
Blanchett also said Crewe manager Dario Gradi's decision to bring in another left-back on loan had been "a blow".
Gradi signed Coventry City's Chris Hussey on loan this month, only for the new arrival to go down with a foot injury in his second training session and return to his parent club.
"[The signing] was a blow for me to be fair. I was upset about it obviously, but I got on with it.
"I got my head down and worked hard, and impressed [the manager] this week again. I'm now back in the team so hopefully I'll keep my place," he added.
