Striker Shaun Miller has scored seven goals for the Alex this season
Crewe striker Shaun Miller hopes to play in their last three league matches after coming off the bench to help the Alex to a 1-1 draw at Oldham on Monday.
Miller has only started three league games in 2009, the last of which came at Leyton Orient on 14 February.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "It has been frustrating. Sometimes you're on the bench, sometimes you're not involved. You just have to keep yourself going.
"But I was delighted to get on (at Oldham) and help us get a 1-1 draw."
The 21-year-old has scored seven times this season, but has not found the back of the net since their 3-2 defeat to Millwall in a FA Cup third round replay on 13 January.
Byron Moore's late equaliser helped the Alex to a vital point in their fight against relegation - they are now four points above the drop zone.
Crewe's last win came seven matches ago - a 1-0 success at Colchester on 14 March - and Miller hopes that run can end against Cheltenham on Saturday.
"We really need a win, and quick," said Miller. "One win will make a big difference because there's a lot of teams down there on similar points.
"It will go down to the wire, but we think we can get results from our last three fixtures, so we're hoping for the best."
