Thordarson will not stand for a lack of discipline from his players

Crewe boss Gudjon Thordarson wants his players to provide him with hard work, commitment and desire in their bid to escape relegation from League One.

The Alex are six points from safety and have managed only six wins this season.

Thordarson told BBC Radio Stoke: "It all starts with discipline on and off the pitch - it's about manners and how you take yourself forward."

Midfielder Michael O'Connor has felt the force of his manager's approach , recently losing his place in the team.
