Gradi first took over as Crewe boss in 1983

Crewe Alexandra's on-loan midfielder Kenny Lunt has said caretaker manager Dario Gradi is the right man to turn results around for the club.

Gradi was placed in temporary charge at the Alexandra Stadium after Steve Holland was removed in November.

Lunt told BBC Radio Stoke: "It's good he's back because he knows the club better than anyone else.

"He was the right man to come in, if anyone can get wins and turn the club around then it's Dario."

The 29-year-old midfielder is in his second loan spell with Crewe after initially leaving the South Cheshire club to join Sheffield Wednesday in 2006.
