Chalmers has been frustrated by his lack of games this season
Aldershot midfielder Lewis Chalmers has joined Blue Square Premier side Crawley on a month's loan.
The 22-year-old played regularly in Aldershot's promotion campaign last season and was named in the Blue Square Premier's team of the year.
But he has only made 12 appearances this season and last played in October.
Chalmers told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "It's a positive for me, I've been told I'm going to play here."
"I'm going to knuckle down, play well and get a few wins hopefully. When I go back hopefully I have more of a chance of making it into the side," he added.
Chalmers admits to feeling frustrated at his lack of appearances but insists he is not bitter.
"It's been frustrating but I can't knock the lads that are playing well. I want to be in the team but the gaffer has told me to be patient because the lads are doing well.
"I've got no grudges against anyone, the gaffer's been great with me. It's a waiting game because the lads are doing so well."
