Brighton are set to sign Oldham striker Craig Davies after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old Welsh international, who was at loan at Stockport before Christmas, will put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year contract on Monday.
Seagulls boss Micky Adams told the club website: "He is a big, strong centre-forward capable of scoring goals at this level.
"He gives us another different option, alongside our existing strikers."
Davies has previously enjoyed spells with Oxford United, Verona and Wolves.
