Lambert took over as Colchester manager in October

Colchester United manager Paul Lambert has said his side need to improve their record at the Community Stadium.

The U's 2-1 defeat to Hereford on Saturday was their sixth home defeat of the season and leaves them with the joint-worst home record in League One.

Lambert told BBC Essex: "It's up to us to break down other teams and stop conceding goals.

"We seem to be doing it the wrong way round, because we're getting results away from home."
