Colchester United boss Paul Lambert feels their 0-0 draw with Scunthorpe shows how much they have improved.
The U's point at the Community Stadium keeps them 16th in league, but are now five points clear of the bottom four.
"We're making good progress, we were sitting 23rd about two months ago," Lambert told BBC Essex.
"People told me it was the best atmosphere here since the Millwall game (in October) so we must be doing something right."

Saturday's draw came on the back of last week's 1-0 victory over Leeds and Lambert was delighted to have continued that momentum.
"I thought we were terrific," he added. "I thought we carried on from where we left off against Leeds.
"We went to try to win the game, had some unbelievable chances to win it - I was delighted with the way we played."
