Cheltenham Town midfielder Ashley Vincent is set to leave Whaddon Road, according to manager Martin Allen.

"Ashley has been told about the enquiries and it looks like he'll be leaving," Allen told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

Vincent, 23, has made 131 appearances, scoring 13 goals, since joining the club in May 2004.

"I do want him to stay but he has the opportunity to earn a lot more money by going to other clubs," added Allen.

The winger is currently sidelined for up to three weeks following a medial knee ligament injury picked up in the draw against Swindon.

Cheltenham have recently lost goalkeeping coach Alan Fettis, midfielder Alex Russell and striker Lloyd Owusu as part of their cost-cutting policy.
