Lee Ridley spent two spells away from Whaddon Road last season
Cheltenham manager Martin Allen has taken Lee Ridley off the transfer list because of his recent on-field impact.
Ridley, 26, signed from Scunthorpe United in July 2007, has been on the list since the start of the season.
But, since the sacking of Keith Downing, the defender has featured more in recent weeks under Allen, playing in six of the Robins' last seven games.
Allen told the club website: "Lee has been very dedicated and has proved a big asset to us in recent games."
Ridley, who had loan spells with Darlington and Lincoln City in 2007-2008, also featured for the reserves in midweek.
He played in the Cheltenham team who progressed to the semi-finals of the Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Cup with a 4-0 win over neighbours Forest Green Rovers at Whaddon Road.
