Cheltenham central defender Gavin Caines has agreed a new one-year deal. The 23-year-old, who joined the Robins from Walsall in the summer of 2004, was out-of contract but had been stalling on the offer of fresh terms.
Striker Damian Spencer, 25, is now the only player from last year's squad who is still considering his future.
"We have offered Damian a three-year contract on improved terms, but he is talking to other clubs too," chairman Paul Baker told Cheltenham's website.
Spencer can move on a Bosman-style free transfer if he wishes, but as Caines is under 24, Cheltenham will receive compensation if he joins another English club.
