Cheltenham Town midfielder Adam Connolly has signed a new one-year contract to stay at Whaddon Road. The 21-year-old made eight appearances for the Robins last season but boss John Ward is looking for him to break into the side on a full-time basis.
"This is a big year for Adam," said Ward. "There will be competition, but he needs to establish himself now."
Ward also revealed he believes JJ Melligan will join Craig Armstrong in leaving the League One outfit.
"We made them both substantially increased offers but they have turned them down and we expect them to move elsewhere," Ward told the club website.
