Midfielder Bird, 22, has signed a new three-year deal as has 19-year-old keeper Puddy, while defender Gill, 36, has signed a one-year extension.

Boss John Ward told the club's website: "David agreeing a new deal is as good as signing a new player. And Jerry is another very good signing for us.

"Will has been signed with the future in mind. I am sure he is going to become a very a successful player."
