Ridley has come through the youth ranks at Scunthorpe

The 23-year-old's deal was due to run out at the end of the season but he has been rewarded for his impressive form.

"This is deserved for his excellent service to the club and puts him on parity with the others players pay-wise," Iron boss Brian Laws said.

"He has done so well. He is Scunthorpe through and through but has never moaned about being on a low pay scale."
