Parkinson plotting top two finish for Charlton Athletic
Parkinson needs other results to go Charlton's way
Charlton manager Phil Parkinson is not giving up on the chase for the second automatic League One promotion place despite Saturday's 1-0 loss to Norwich.
Parkinson says the Addicks need three wins from their three remaining games against Exeter, rivals Leeds and Oldham to overhaul a three-point deficit.
He told BBC Radio Kent: "We keep going. It's all there to play for.
"We suffered a setback with defeat by Norwich but if we maintain Saturday's second-half form we've got a chance."
Parkinson's optimism was fuelled by the fact that promotion rivals Leeds and Millwall lost at the weekend while Swindon failed to win.
It's not nice watching your opponents celebrate promotion on your ground

He added: "In terms of belief, of being on the front foot and having a real go, we did everything from a decent structure and never left ourselves exposed.
"The fact that our supporters gave us such a big ovation at the final whistle told us everything. They knew how unlucky we had been and I was delighted with that response."
Charlton top scorer Deon Burton said: "We deserved something from the game and it's not nice watching your opponents celebrate promotion on your ground.
"I thought we played some of our best football of the season in the second half. Their goalkeeper, Fraser Forster, was outstanding and as a striker it crosses your mind that maybe he wasn't going to be beaten."
