Charlton boss Phil Parkinson issues warning to players
Parkinson apologised to Addicks fans
Charlton manager Phil Parkinson warned his players to prepare for a long, hard week in training after Saturday's 4-0 drubbing by Millwall at the New Den.
The Addicks face another derby with the weekend visit of Gillingham, and Parkinson told BBC Radio Kent: "It was our worst performance of the season.
"So we'll need to put in a lot of hard work between now and Saturday because we need to bounce back quickly."
"I know our supporters will be hurting but no one is hurting more than I am."
Charlton were unable to mount a single shot on target until the 89th minute and Parkinson issued a public apology to supporters.
I just wish the Gillingham game could have been in midweek to get the Millwall defeat out of our system

"I apologise because we know there was a lot of local pride at stake," he said.
"There was not enough leadership and not enough men out there. All I asked was for players to do their own jobs. But there was a blame culture out there with players blaming each other."
Defender Christian Dailly added: "We can't afford to cry over spilt milk.
"Of course I feel for our supporters but we have to take the Millwall defeat on the chin and focus on the Gillingham game.
"I'm so pleased we've got another derby next week - I just wish it could have been in midweek to get the Millwall defeat out of our system.
"We need to be mentally tough, that's one of the issues. But I think we'll be fine."
