Anyinsah was a target for Brighton during the transfer window
Carlisle winger Joe Anyinsah has said he is looking forward to returning to Brighton this weekend.
Anyinsah, 24, spent three months on loan with the Seagulls this season but turned them down last month to sign a two-year deal at Brunton Park.
"I enjoyed my time down there and it's a big game for both sides," Anyinsah told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"We're close to each other in terms of points so three points for either side could be crucial."
Anyinsah, who began his career at Bristol City, scored twice in 15 appearances for the Seagulls between September and December.
Carlisle currently lie five points and three places above Saturday's opponents in 18th place in League One.
Brighton was one of the options available to me but I really enjoyed my loan spell at Carlisle and that's what swung it for me

He scored Brighton's second goal in their Carling Cup second round win against Manchester City at the Withdean.
"It's a good club and I met some good people down there," Anyinsah said.
"The gaffer was good to me as well so I'm looking forward to going back there with Carlisle."
The Bristol-born winger, who left Ashton Gate to join Preston North End on a three-year deal in 2005, joined Carlisle on loan in September 2007, making 12 appearances and scoring three times.
He signed a two-year deal with the Cumbrians despite interest from both Brighton and Swindon but revealed that he came close to joining the Withdean club.
"I came very close to be honest," he said. "It was one of the options available to me but I really enjoyed my loan spell at Carlisle and that's what swung it for me."
Anyinsah played as a central striker alongside Danny Graham in Tuesday night's 1-1 draw against Walsall.
"I don't mind where I play to be honest but it is nice to play up front and I did enjoy it," he said.
"We were disappointed to come in at half-time only 1-0 up to be honest. We had a few chances which we were ruing in the end.
"Some players haven't played for a few weeks, maybe we took our foot of the pedal and they stepped things up in the second-half. It was frustrating."
