Carlisle have broken the club's record fee of �140,000 to sign Blackburn striker Joe Garner. The price for 19-year-old will rise to �150,000 if the Cumbrians achieve promotion to the Championship.
He is no stranger to Cumbrians boss Neil McDonald after he had the player on loan from January 2007 until the end of the season.
Garner played 18 games during his time at Carlisle and scored four goals during his four month loan spell.
He did not make a first-team appearance at Blackburn but scored eight times in 10 reserve matches.
