Carlisle United have captured teenage Blackburn Rovers striker Joe Garner on loan until the end of the season. Garner, 18, is yet to make a first-team appearance at Blackburn but has scored eight times in 10 reserve games.
Carlisle boss Neil McDonald said: "He's scored goals at every level with Blackburn and is a hard working player who is difficult to deal with.
"He wants to prove a point. He has just signed a new deal with Blackburn so we have done very well to get him."
