The first south Wales derby next season between Cardiff City and Swansea City will be shown live on BBC television.

The 7 November Championship clash at the Cardiff City Stadium is currently scheduled for a 1310 GMT kick-off.

The game will complete a bumper weekend of sport in Cardiff, as the Wales rugby union team face Australia the previous day at the Millennium Stadium.

The return Championship derby at Swansea's Liberty Stadium home is scheduled for Saturday, 5 February.

Honours were shared in the league between the two Welsh rivals last season, with Swansea winning 3-2 at home in November, while Cardiff replied with a 2-1 victory on their turf in April.
