Cardiff's Jay Bothroyd and Swansea's Garry Monk face each other in November
Welsh Championship rivals Cardiff City and Swansea City will clash on Saturday, 6 November and Saturday 5 February during the 2010-11 season.
Losing play-off finalists Cardiff begin their league campaign at home against Sheffield United on Saturday, 7 August.
So Swansea are once again open their league bid away at Hull City.
Cardiff host Coventry on Boxing Day while the Swans are at QPR but on New Year's Day Cardiff visit Bristol City and Swansea welcome Reading.
The south Wales derby at Cardiff City Stadium on 6 November clashes with Welsh rugby's scheduled international fixture against Australia at the Millennium Stadium just one-and-a-half miles away.
However, the fixtures are subject to change - but a South Wales Police spokesman said: "Policing plans for both matches will be put in place to ensure the events run smoothly and the fans enjoy the day."
Swansea's first home game is against Preston on 14 August when the Bluebirds will be at Derby.
Swans vice-captain Alan Tate believes Swansea's trip to newly-relegated Hull, who dropped out of the Premier League last season, is one of the toughest tests Paulo Sousa's me could have had.
"It's a tough one," said Tate.
"They're a side who will be looking to bounce back straight away and it will be another big test for us.
"They will be looking to stamp their authority on the league pretty much instantaneously - but it is up to us to prove that we can live with the teams that have come down and hopefully make a push for what we hope is a very good season."
